Teri, I don't have to tell you how much I respect Natalia and her work. The simple program she outlines in her book, "The Raw Food Detox Diet," transformed (and saved) my life. When you eat fresh living food, you begin to feel more alive.

Lately, I've been reading quite a bit about food frequencies. Fascinating stuff!

One thing on the timeline which seems to jump out, is how early the first initiative to protect redwoods was.

1852

Not often if at all that Lincoln will be mentioned in school in conjunction with parks or trees. Not the school I was in.

Cheers,

This is a great post. I often struggle with the difficult task of teaching my two young buys 3 & 5 why we can't go to the Circus or the Rodeo (which there are plenty nearby). How do you explain to a young impressionable mind why they can't do something when society is showing them that it is so acceptable and normal, yet to us, so horribly cruel.

Sounds like a great set, but I must confess that I would rather put on my hiking boots and experience the outside world first hand.

Nature TV is nice, but it doesn't beat seeing the world first hand.
