A new smokin’ hot blogging Community!

Posted by msterilinn on Apr 18, 2008

When I started blogging, I had absolutely no idea how much fun it would be! I was really quite casual about it at first, and pretty much just blogged about things I am passionate about. I didn’t really think a whole lot about other people visiting my blog and actually being interested in what I had to say, although I did hope that I might touch some folks and get some attention gathered to help the endangered wildlife around the Earth. And I did think it would be great to get people interested in caring for the planet by stepping up and taking notice.

Never  did I think one could actually earn money from blogging! Now I know better. Although this particular blog is not geared towards making money, primarily, it has served to teach me how I can do this with other blogs that I am creating. Through socializing with other bloggers in communities, I have not only gained a greater perspective of the blogoshpere and all the wonderful people and information available through this amazing aspect of the web, yet I have found many bloggers who actually make some serious money. This is how several successful bloggers make a living, and a really good one!

Social networking is one of the most powerful ways to gain exposure and build relationships. If you are seriously looking for ways to monetize your blog, or are just now considering blogging as a form of earning an income, a great first step is getting out there and joining some great blogging communities. The search engines just love these communities, and we can learn so much from other bloggers, as well as finding great opportunies all in one place. Meeting people from all over the world and learning about so many different subject matters is a very sweet bonus!

SocialSpark CommunityI would like to direct you to a hot new blogging community called SocialSpark. I have had enough experience with the people behind this project to feel confident with telling others just how powerful and big this is going to be! Their code of ethics is to be commended, and I truly feel that once they make it through the bumps of their newly launched community, this is going to be one of the finest places on the net to gather with other bloggers. People will be able to interact with fellow bloggers, as well as create profiles to put their best blogging face out there to gain some positive exposure. This is also a great place to advertise, either your blog or your business. You can get real time statistics and find the truly popular blogs to strike up a conversation, or help fellow bloggers get a foot up by mentioning their blog in a fair trade. There is so much more in the way of tools and socialization, so I really do encourage people to stop on by and see for themselves.

Some positive notes I would like to mention about SocialSpark

-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly

Well then, here is the opportunity to spark up some fantastic new relationships and learn from the pros. What finer way to gain a better perspective of this world we live in than touching base with people from all walks of life and different cultures? I am truly excited to add this to my favorite places to visit. And if I can earn some extra money to help care for my family and enjoy a better lifestyle, then this is just a sweet little extra bonus.

Happy Blogging!!

Seeking a Real Match in your chosen field

Posted by msterilinn on Mar 14, 2008

Today I will touch upon a subject that is a bit personal. My eldest son had a great job managing the business where he had been employed for over 7 years. Due to unforseen circumstances he was laid off as the company made some changes in location and structure. Needless to say he did not go back to work for them, and has struggled since to find suitable work for his level of skills and pay level.

He has done the job search and matching thing, with very little luck thus far. Surely he is willing to try a new place to find his ideal career to match his skills. I have discovered such a place and do hope he will give it a serious try.

Matching technology is replacing keyword search technology as the most efficient way for job seekers and employers to connect. The problem with using keyword search technology to locate jobs is that most job seekers don’t know what keywords to use in order to unearth the best jobs for them. Since everyone has a unique set of skills, a technology company called Realmatch developed a proprietary taxonomy which allows everyone to define themselves. Job listing with this advanced technology brings choices of entering your chosen field to a whole new level.

Fortune 500 companies like Pfizer, New York Life, Home Depot, Kraft, Time Warner Cable and many others have adopted Realmatch as their new generation recruiting platform. Business Week is calling Realmatch “Scary competition to Monster” and I can see why.

Connecting with the World beyond the limits

Posted by msterilinn on Mar 8, 2008

As we hope and plan in the very near future to move to a place of our own choosing, there are several major points which go into consideration. First, we would love to live outside the city limits, no matter where we finally land. My daughter and I wish to have many animal friends to keep us company, either adopted, or whatever our Path brings to us. So we need enough space to live comfortably with our four legged friends. There must be clean and beautiful water spots nearby as well, as we are both part water sprite and love to swim and play near water.

Another consideration, which is quite important, is that I work out of my home via my computer. I do not wish to be limited to my choice of living space through the lack of proper connection to the World Wide Web. I have endured the agony of dial-up in the past, and while I sympathize with those who are still wading through the sluggish waters of snail pace connections, I refuse to go back. My lifeline in the financial realms relies upon my abilities to create, and test my creations, as I learn new ways to improve upon my online presence.

If we wish to live beyond the bounds of high speed cable broadband, we will need to look beyond the land, to the sky. This is where providers such as Hughes Net comes in. Hughes Net uses satellite technology, not your phone line, to give you a super-fast, always-on Internet connection. While we shall definately explore our options, it is heartening to know that there are alternatives and choices, so we have a greater chance of realizing our Dream.

Postcards, Stamps and Magnets.. oh my!

Posted by msterilinn on Feb 22, 2008

Notepads from VistaPrintNow here is something I truly enjoy. Gathering supplies for an event, special occasion, or simply providing unique announcements. Being quite active socially and environmentally, I have a great and varied use for many of these items for spreading the word and advertising my particular cause or event.

Having a place that specializes in just these sorts of supplies, is exactly what I need when I get too busy to create all these items on my own. So I turn to VistaPrint, having done business with them in the past, and feeling quite happy with their quality and service. They have a great special right now, so I can have them print postcards relating to certain causes close to my heart. I can visit VistaPrint and use coupon code “BlogPostcards100” at checkout to receive 100 free postcards… what a fantastic deal! I can use a Design Template from their site, or upload one of my own Designs, depending upon my needs.

VistaPrint offers a wide array of printing services including: postcards, address labels, magnets, checks, stamps and much, much more! We can customize all of their products to our own preferences and designs. Just have fun with it!

And that is not all. They offer free Logo Designs as well. Here are some examples of categories to choose from…

~Beauty & Spa
~Entertainment
~Financial Services
~Flowers
~General Business
~Home Services
~Monograms
~Professional Services
~Real Estate
~Restaurants
~Retail & Jewelry
~Travel
~Text Only

As I was cleaning up my office space, I decided to take inventory as well. I definately need to gather more supplies such as stationary, envelopes, note pads and address labels as well. Having these customized is a great way to express myself professionally and personally.

Another great idea is to create personalized desk and wall calendars! These are a wonderful way to brighten up our own space, and they make fantastic gifts. Family and friends will totally delight in having these sweet little reminders of their loved ones, or special vacations and events, to add that personal touch to their office or living space as well.

Ah yes, I am most certainly looking forward to visiting VistaPrint to satisfy my creative needs.

Enjoy!

Is Nouveau Riche the real deal?

Posted by msterilinn on Feb 16, 2008

As a special feature, I would like to mention a blog dedicated to stories and testimonials from successful students, instructors, employees, or independent student advisors of Nouveau Riche University. Nouveau Riche College provides the tools, motivation and support towards becoming a successful real estate investor. Their courses are designed to teach the “how-to” real estate investment concepts and strategies.

I would like to draw attention to a success story from a happy man who has realized his Dream, as featured on Nouveaurized

Robert Joseph, Los Angeles, CA“I became interested in real estate investment because I wanted to realize my dream of financial freedom. I had invested in stocks and mutual funds in the past, but never obtained the kind of return on my investments that I wanted. As a result, it became clear to me that real estate investment is the most profitable and most reliable type of investment there is. My introduction to Nouveau Riche came at the Real Estate Wealth Expo in Los Angeles. I became a member of the community in June 2005. Within the first six months, I closed on 7 properties in the Atlanta market and 2 properties in the Cincinnati market with the help of The Real Market Experts. These properties have combined equity at closing of $118,000 and positive cash flow. Thank you Nouveau Riche and The Real Market Experts. I did not expect to own 9 properties in just six months. This is phenomenal!” – Robert Joseph, Los Angeles, CA

This is just a small example of some very happy people. If you are interested in pursuing your Dream of financial independence, perhaps you may wish to visit Nouveaurized to learn more. Please feel free to comment if you, or anyone you know, has had experience with Nouveau Riche. I would be most happy to hear from you.

Enjoy!

Happy 2008! Let’s talk about Pay Per Post…

Posted by msterilinn on Jan 3, 2008

Well then, my very first post in 2008… Happy New Year everyone! I do hope each moment of this year brings about changes for the good. May you all find much happiness, prosperity and true friends to help light your Path.

Speaking of prosperity, I have found a way to earn a bit of money doing something I truly love… writing. At Pay Per Post blog network, we can get paid for blogging! How cool is that? I had actually heard of Pay Per Post about a year ago, through a great bloggers forum called Mom Gadget - A Real Work at Home Mom. I believe it was all the good things Colleen, a top poster for Pay Per Post and a forum member at Mom Gadget, had to say that got me interested in the first place.

So, I decided to check them out, and asked around to see how other folks felt about them. I got pretty busy in the past year, yet since I haven’t really heard anything negative, I figured I just might like to give them a try to see for myself. Everyone I talked to has been pretty happy with Pay Per Post. They have been paid on time, earning a sweet little extra income, and seem to be having fun with the whole process. I like the layout of the Pay Per Post website, and it looks pretty easy to figure things out.

Most importantly, I feel I can produce honest and high quality reviews. Anyone who has visited my blog, or knows me elsewhere on the net, knows how down to earth and truthful I am when sharing my opinions or views, on many subjects. As long as I can find reviews that relate to my theme here at Mother Earthbeats, which pretty much covers a lot of subjects related to Life on this Planet, I should truly enjoy this new experience. A nice time to begin a new relationship in the blogosphere, as the New Year unfolds, if I must say so!

And hmmm… what will I do with the extra money earned whilst reviewing? Let’s see, how about being able to support my favorite natural causes, as well as helping with taking care of my sweet little family seeing as I am the sole provider… ;)
