Searching for a sweet new Wordpress Theme!
Posted by msterilinn on Jun 17, 2008
I have been so very busy, and have barely a moment to spare for my wonderful blogs. With just a few days to go before we leave for a two week camp-out, I am scrambling to finish gathering supplies and take care of last minute details so our home and pets will be taken care of in a good way while we are gone. Thank goodness my oldest son is living at home, so I can trust him with our little ones this time around.
Yet, I do have a plan! This is my first blog, and I also have a blog called This Virtual World, which is still just a baby, but I promise to give it the attention it deserves as soon as we get back from this well-earned vacation away from home. And the plan is to create yet another blog as soon as I can give it my entire focus. I am pretty sure about the name, though I am still trying to figure out what kind of template I will go with. I have gotten lots of compliments on the wordpress themes that I have chosen for my first two blogs, and am really happy with them. It is such fun playing around in this creation stage of building a blog, so I am pretty excited about doing this as soon as we get home!
With that said, I would like to encourage folks who may be wishing to go with a Wordpress powered blog to visit a great site loaded with some really sweet templates to choose from. Check out the great quality of these professionally designed wordpress themes, which are free to download and can be found at TopWPThemes.com.
My favourite thus far is the Rainbow Garden Theme… it looks very pretty, and may just fit quite nicely with the theme I have in mind for my new blog. I really love the overall design and having a column on each side is a great plus. There are truly so many great designs to choose from, and I like to try out a few just to get a feel for them, depending upon what I wish to add to the side columns and such. I do not like clutter, and will go for the cleanest template I can find as long as it is simple to work with. I can’t wait to get started!
A new smokin’ hot blogging Community!
Posted by msterilinn on Apr 18, 2008
When I started blogging, I had absolutely no idea how much fun it would be! I was really quite casual about it at first, and pretty much just blogged about things I am passionate about. I didn’t really think a whole lot about other people visiting my blog and actually being interested in what I had to say, although I did hope that I might touch some folks and get some attention gathered to help the endangered wildlife around the Earth. And I did think it would be great to get people interested in caring for the planet by stepping up and taking notice.
Never did I think one could actually earn money from blogging! Now I know better. Although this particular blog is not geared towards making money, primarily, it has served to teach me how I can do this with other blogs that I am creating. Through socializing with other bloggers in communities, I have not only gained a greater perspective of the blogoshpere and all the wonderful people and information available through this amazing aspect of the web, yet I have found many bloggers who actually make some serious money. This is how several successful bloggers make a living, and a really good one!
Social networking is one of the most powerful ways to gain exposure and build relationships. If you are seriously looking for ways to monetize your blog, or are just now considering blogging as a form of earning an income, a great first step is getting out there and joining some great blogging communities. The search engines just love these communities, and we can learn so much from other bloggers, as well as finding great opportunies all in one place. Meeting people from all over the world and learning about so many different subject matters is a very sweet bonus!
I would like to direct you to a hot new blogging community called SocialSpark. I have had enough experience with the people behind this project to feel confident with telling others just how powerful and big this is going to be! Their code of ethics is to be commended, and I truly feel that once they make it through the bumps of their newly launched community, this is going to be one of the finest places on the net to gather with other bloggers. People will be able to interact with fellow bloggers, as well as create profiles to put their best blogging face out there to gain some positive exposure. This is also a great place to advertise, either your blog or your business. You can get real time statistics and find the truly popular blogs to strike up a conversation, or help fellow bloggers get a foot up by mentioning their blog in a fair trade. There is so much more in the way of tools and socialization, so I really do encourage people to stop on by and see for themselves.
Some positive notes I would like to mention about SocialSpark…
-100% Audit-able In-Post Disclosure
-100% Transparency
-100% Real Opinions
-100% Search Engine Friendly
Well then, here is the opportunity to spark up some fantastic new relationships and learn from the pros. What finer way to gain a better perspective of this world we live in than touching base with people from all walks of life and different cultures? I am truly excited to add this to my favorite places to visit. And if I can earn some extra money to help care for my family and enjoy a better lifestyle, then this is just a sweet little extra bonus.
Happy Blogging!!
Toxins in our Environment are killing us..
Posted by msterilinn on Feb 27, 2008
Today I am featuring a fellow blogger dedicated to educating the public of the dangers of toxic substances in our environment. Mark Sadaka of PharmaWatchDog has a Bachelor of Science degree from Pennsylvania State University, as well as a Master of Science in Public Health degree from Tulane University’s School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine with specialization in environmental toxicology and risk assessment. I believe Mr. Sadaka is very well educated in his chosen field, and after a tragic personal loss he is truly serious about getting the word out to the people.
Mr. Sadaka earned his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis where he served as an Editor of the Journal of Law and Policy Law Review. He has a solid commitment to defending those who cannot defend themselves against companies with nearly unlimited resources. Please take the time to visit PharmaWatchDog and find out about the truth concerning toxic substances and the dangers to public health. We are poisoning ourselves and we owe it to our loved ones, and ourselves, to discover how we can prevent further tragedies in our lives and live toxin free.
I am adding PharmaWatchDog to my blogroll, and hope my blogging friends will do so as well, and help spread the word.
Is Nouveau Riche the real deal?
Posted by msterilinn on Feb 16, 2008
As a special feature, I would like to mention a blog dedicated to stories and testimonials from successful students, instructors, employees, or independent student advisors of Nouveau Riche University. Nouveau Riche College provides the tools, motivation and support towards becoming a successful real estate investor. Their courses are designed to teach the “how-to” real estate investment concepts and strategies.
I would like to draw attention to a success story from a happy man who has realized his Dream, as featured on Nouveaurized…
“I became interested in real estate investment because I wanted to realize my dream of financial freedom. I had invested in stocks and mutual funds in the past, but never obtained the kind of return on my investments that I wanted. As a result, it became clear to me that real estate investment is the most profitable and most reliable type of investment there is. My introduction to Nouveau Riche came at the Real Estate Wealth Expo in Los Angeles. I became a member of the community in June 2005. Within the first six months, I closed on 7 properties in the Atlanta market and 2 properties in the Cincinnati market with the help of The Real Market Experts. These properties have combined equity at closing of $118,000 and positive cash flow. Thank you Nouveau Riche and The Real Market Experts. I did not expect to own 9 properties in just six months. This is phenomenal!” – Robert Joseph, Los Angeles, CA
This is just a small example of some very happy people. If you are interested in pursuing your Dream of financial independence, perhaps you may wish to visit Nouveaurized to learn more. Please feel free to comment if you, or anyone you know, has had experience with Nouveau Riche. I would be most happy to hear from you.
Enjoy!
Happy 2008! Let’s talk about Pay Per Post…
Posted by msterilinn on Jan 3, 2008
Well then, my very first post in 2008… Happy New Year everyone! I do hope each moment of this year brings about changes for the good. May you all find much happiness, prosperity and true friends to help light your Path.
Speaking of prosperity, I have found a way to earn a bit of money doing something I truly love… writing. At Pay Per Post blog network, we can get paid for blogging! How cool is that? I had actually heard of Pay Per Post about a year ago, through a great bloggers forum called Mom Gadget - A Real Work at Home Mom. I believe it was all the good things Colleen, a top poster for Pay Per Post and a forum member at Mom Gadget, had to say that got me interested in the first place.
So, I decided to check them out, and asked around to see how other folks felt about them. I got pretty busy in the past year, yet since I haven’t really heard anything negative, I figured I just might like to give them a try to see for myself. Everyone I talked to has been pretty happy with Pay Per Post. They have been paid on time, earning a sweet little extra income, and seem to be having fun with the whole process. I like the layout of the Pay Per Post website, and it looks pretty easy to figure things out.
Most importantly, I feel I can produce honest and high quality reviews. Anyone who has visited my blog, or knows me elsewhere on the net, knows how down to earth and truthful I am when sharing my opinions or views, on many subjects. As long as I can find reviews that relate to my theme here at Mother Earthbeats, which pretty much covers a lot of subjects related to Life on this Planet, I should truly enjoy this new experience. A nice time to begin a new relationship in the blogosphere, as the New Year unfolds, if I must say so!
And hmmm… what will I do with the extra money earned whilst reviewing? Let’s see, how about being able to support my favorite natural causes, as well as helping with taking care of my sweet little family seeing as I am the sole provider…
