Following upon the heels of my last post, I would say this particular subject is only fitting. I am a strong believer in utilizing the power of Nature, in safe and intelligent ways, always keeping the Balance in mind. With such powerful resources available from the elements of Nature, such as Air, Water, and Solar, it stands to reason we should actively explore our options to live clean and healthy lives. The natural abundance of these truly amazing elements should lead such intelligent beings, as we humans imagine ourselves to be, to greater depths of study of natural sciences. Who needs resources which pollute the planet and destroys our ecosystems, when the Creator has provided us with everything we need, if we just open our eyes?
Our family and friends are dedicated to re-learning how to live in Balance with Nature. As such, we are learning how to grow our own foods, studying herb lore and wilderness survival, as well as how to travel through nature as softly as possible so as not to disturb the Balance. Also, we are keenly interested in how to build our homes with the Power of Nature in mind.
It is so very important to the health of this planet and her inhabitants to find the cleanest sources of power. The ebb and flow of our Ocean tides are efficient, consistent, clean and free. Empty of emissions, carbons or combustibles, the currents created by the tides can provide a conscious alternative to the fossil fuels that now power most of our electrical needs.
Until now, the potential of the tides and the gravitational lunar pull upon them has remained relatively untapped. That’s where Florida Keys Hydropower Research Corporation steps up to make a difference.
Keys Hydro Power is a Florida alternative energy company providing clean power from tidal turbines. This non profit environmental project uses water power as a clean renewable energy source.

Brighten up your Environment with LED rope lights

LEDs typically use about 90% less energy than their incandescent counterparts and last up to 20 times as long. For example, a 1 foot stand of LED rope light consumes about 1 watt of power while a comparable incandescent strand consumes 7.5 watts. LED rope lighting will also last for more than 50,000 hours and also generates very little heat so it is much safer.

LED rope light typically comes in round or square strands with approximately 12 LEDs per foot and is available in a wide variety of colors including Warm White, Yellow, Green, Blue, Red and Pure White. The efficient LED string lights use so little power a homeowner could illuminate 2,000 lights for 8 hours each day for an entire year and only spend about $47 on electricity.

There is much to be said about harnessing the Power of Nature in creating renewable energy. Our Ancient ancestors knew how to use these powerful resources to make life easier, and create a balance between humans and nature. It truly makes sense to allow Nature to assist us in life, instead of wantonly harvesting resources that create havoc on the ecosystem, as well as causing serious health issues to humans and animals. The power of the Wind can be harnessed to create a clean source of energy at a very low cost. The power of the Sun is being used as well, in many ways, to provide energy. In combining Science with Nature we are paving the way for innovative ways to create energy sources, with many uses, ensuring a healthy planet for future generations.
I love searching for information on Ancient Civilizations… this is a great fascination for me. I feel strongly that a lot of knowledge has been lost, through one disaster or another, and through diligent research we can regain some of this precious knowledge. We can learn not only from our mistakes, yet from studying ancient techniques, and applying this with the help of modern technology. Seriously, so much is being discovered that points to a level of technology in our past that actually surpasses what we know now.
