This is Canadain wolf fan again, I think what you’ve done is amazing. It’s nice to meet someone who feels same way about wolves as I do… or the rest of the wilderness for that matter. I’ve been to many other web sites and found that wolf protection in the states is planning to be removed or has already. I fear it won’t be long before my idiot government decides to the same thing. I am going to try and find a way to vioce my opinion.

That was heart wrenching, I feel hopeless every time I read about wolves. They are my favorite animal. I don’t understand how anyone could even think about harming a wolf. I live in British Columbia, Canada here the laws are dissapointingly lax. Every hunter can claim 3 wolves, there is no tag required, and there is vitually no rangers to enforce. Even if there was I feel like I’m surrounded by wolf haters. I’ve live in BC all my life and I’ve never seen a wolf. All I have are pictures. If only I could buy all the land that the wolf still walks upon… I would protect it with my life.

I’m so glad you posted about this. I get emails regularly from an organization trying to stop these aerial killings. I’ve often thought I’d like to write about it. It’s an important issue. Beautifully written!
